Vista - RC1 invitation not received.

RC1 invitation not received.

Hi guys,

I'm running Beta 2 Build 5384. I'd like to grab RC1 but I didn't receive the
invitation e-mail. is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way I can get
that e-mail? How do I go about grabing RC1? Any solution at all would be
gratly appriciated.

The invitation mails are being sent. Mine arived today.

Note that you will only get one if you were in the BETA2 CPP and registered
for a Key.

CPP new registers to be in the next days.

You can install this build without entering a Key and activate it within 14
days before it stops working.

Choose Ultimate edition to install, because that is what the CPP Keys are
going to activate.

Thanks a million. I did registered cpp and have the proper key. I also knew
about the download site, but on vista beta 2 it would not work. I'm using
another pc running xp pro sp2 on my network now, and download process looks
fine.

I'll be downloading both 64 and 32 since i have capable machines on which i
do most of my OS tests.

I am also a registered user of the Beta2 CPP. I not only registered, but
downloaded, installed & activated Beta2. I DID NOT get the invitation email
to RC1 or pre-RC1 either.

Is the system glitched and skipping over some registered users?

I too haven't gotten an email, but I feel beter that others haven't either
and that they're sending them in groups. My question is, I signed up in June
but instead of downloading I ordered the DVD. Will I still be able to get
RC1, and will they ship DVD's again?

Robert, thanks for the response...can you tell me why I didn't get the
pre-RC1 invitation either then?

I signed up in June but haven't gotten an email yet either. I feel better
that they haven't sent all the emails yet. My question is this: instead of
downloading Vista Beta 2, I ordered the DVD. Will I still be able to get
Vista RC1 and will they ship DVD's again, or will I have to download this
time?

Whoops! Sorry for the double post. For some reason on my PC (using both
Firefox and IE) it says the message failed to post when it really doesn't.

It is a known bug in the web-based newsreader.
