Hibernation

Hi,

When I put the computer into hibernation it does so, but in soem 5 - 7 hours
it wakes up again without any interference from my side. Has anyone
experienced this problem - and solved it?

Thanks,
mountain man

Re: Hibernation

Hi,

Have you checked Task Scheduler for maintenance tasks that coincide with the
system coming on? How about your antivirus software? Many of them
auto-update and run full system scans while a system is not in use or after
a specific period of non-activity.

Hi Mountain Man,

In addition to Rick's post, this tutorial may help you in determining what might be waking your computer up.

Hope this helps,
