| | Re: no uninstall option for google toole bar I no longer use the Google tool-bar.Yet,I find it strange that you are not able to un-install it.I hope you remove programs by going to `Control Panel>Programs and Features`. Anyway, several programs do NOT give you the option to un-install themselves. This is in fact necessary at times, especially in case of certain Windows Updates. This has nothing to do with re-setting the folder options. It may happen that the program you installed was not completely compatible with Vista and therefore cannot be un-installed.In that case, get a Vista-compatible version or edition of those programs. | | RE: no uninstall option for google toole bar I'm surprised that the Google bar doesn't have an uninstall option. Have you tried IE options or tools for the Google bar? Some programs have an uninstall option listed in their folder. Try this: Start button > All Programs > click on your program's folder (open) and the uninstall option maybe listed there. oscar "terry cooper" wrote: Quote: > Hi > > Any ideas why some of my programmes don't have an uninstall option? > > I've tried the resetting folder option, but didn't resolve anything. > > Any help appreciated. > > Terry > > |
