Documents folder has changed to Pictures folder format

Can anyone help me out? This has happened to me before - somehow the folder
formats change themselves, eg the documents folder has options along the top
like 'organise' 'view''slideshow' and 'burn' ie like in the pictures folder.
I found the answer once before in one of the forums, but can't remember where
it was. And why does this happen? Also, when I go to 'Help & support" in
the Start button, it defaults to Lenovo (my hardware mfg) instead of
Microsoft Windows. Sigh ...

Re: Documents folder has changed to Pictures folder format

They are not folder formats but types of `templates`.It seems that something
which you do is unknowingly changing the folder type.
When customising folders, please be sure to review each and every detail.
To get back the template which you want,right-click the folder/directory and
choose `Properties`.Click the `Customize` tab.Now select the desired folder
type from the drop-down menu and click `Apply` and then `OK`.Be careful in
specifying whether all sub-folders/sub-directories should inherit the
template.
As far as the other problem which you have is concerned,it's the usual
expected behaviour.

RE: Documents folder has changed to Pictures folder format

It is supposed to have Organise, burn, etc in documents!
You click Organise for a lot of options to do.
Organise>Layout>Menu Bar> to get "file, edit view, etc"

Lenovo is your OEM computer manufacturer, and is thus responsible for all
support, Hardware and Software, including the Operating System, Vista!

See: http://home.mchsi.com/~k.miller79/

VistaTaskPaneFix: Occasionally, folder's which do not display the
'Customize' tab in their Properties dialog will acquire the Music or
Pictures template. This script allows you to reset the folders to use the
'All Items' template.
