Vista - Win Vista Business to Win XP Pro

Dear All
i have win vista business edition which we can covert to win xp pro as my
dealer told confirmed the same.

Can i use win xp pro oem edition cd and den activate windows using vista cd
key?

Please explain the procedure how to this.Is it require to clean win xp
install or i can downgrade directly.

Pl check the below post where I'm not able to open the procedure given in

Let me explain something on your downgrade question:

OEM downgrade rights for desktop PC operating systems apply to Windows Vista
Business and Windows Vista Ultimate as stated in the License Terms. Please
note, OEM downgrade versions of Windows Vista Business and Windows Vista
Ultimate are limited to Windows XP Professional (including Windows XP Tablet
PC Edition and Windows XP x64 Edition). End users can use the following media
for their downgrade: Volume Licensing media (provided the end user has a
Volume Licensing agreement), retail (FPP), or system builder hologram CD
(provided the software is acquired in accordance with the Microsoft OEM
System Builder License). Use of the downgraded operating system is governed
by the Windows Vista Business License Terms, and the end user cannot use both
the downgrade operating system and Windows Vista Business. There are no
downgrade rights granted for Windows Vista Home Basic or Windows Vista Home
Premium.

In addition, I would like to confirm why you would like to downgrade from
Windows Vista Business to Windows XP Professional. Does any issue occur on
your Windows Vista system? I would like to check whether I can be of
assistance and help you continue to use Windows Vista without downgrading to
previous versions.

No. It won't activate. I believe that you would use the XP pk but with
phone activation, not internet.
