Life Cam VX 1000

hi!
I recently updated my XP to Vista and bought a new webcam Lifecam VX 1000,
after downloading the Cd, when i connect through USB and try opening the
camera, it shows a msg saying that APP Crash and hence check online solutions
but when i try that too nothing helps it!!
What Should I do?

Re: Life Cam VX 1000

I assume that by `downloading the CD`,you meant to say that you installed the software provided on the accompanying C.D.-R.O.M.
Please carefully follow the quick-setup guide given in the user manual(or any other technical reference documentation).Make sure you are following the procedures accurately and completely,in the specified order.
According to http://winqual.microsoft.com/HCL/Pro...VX-1000&oid=33 ,the device has earned the `Works with Windows Vista` logo.

RE: Life Cam VX 1000

First go
here:-http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/DownloadResult.aspx?category=ICE&type=Webcams&name=VX1000&os=WVista_32&lang=en
Now download this latest software and install it.
Post back if it now works ok.
