| | Wireless mouse and the ole screen saver issue Okay..I know this has been discussed before...but my question is a bit extended from earlier discussions. I bought a Logitech mouse...and now on my Vista operated machine...the screen saver does not always come on. Upon reading earlier post..it was said I needed to go into updates to find the "HID non-user input data filter"..and install. Well, updates never found it nor is it a part of a previous update that I have done. After much looking, I found the update on the microsoft webpage. I was able to download it. It is an .cab extension file. I had downloaded TurboZip to extract the .cab file since nothing I had does that. My question is..where the heck do I extract it to? I dont want to assume anything so I thought I would ask. Any thoughts are appreciated. |
