| Guest | Vista S3 resume from sleep problem Hi, My Vista 64 machine (Gigabyte GA-X48-DS5 mobo, Q6600 cpu, 8GB ram, Radeon HD2400 vga card) has a problem when it resumes from sleep. There is a protracted (3 seconds) buzzing noise and then the display shows a vertical pattern of narrow red and white stripes and the machine hangs. Only a reset will get it to reboot - the keyboard is completely dead. Any advice ? Thanks, Mike |

| Guest | Re: Vista S3 resume from sleep problem I should say that there is an installation of XP Pro 32 on the same machine which resumes without problem. Mike |

| Guest | Re: Vista S3 resume from sleep problem Update your drivers. I had a similar problem with a different motherboard and a Radeon 3450, resolved when Catalyst 8.6 was installed. | Guest | Re: Vista S3 resume from sleep problem Well, I downloaded version 8.6 of the ATI driver suite and that has indeed fixed my problem. Many thanks to all who replied, Mike |
