| | Vista, Drive Size Issue Hi, I posed some issues in another post, but there have been some changes. I have an Xtrastor external enclosure with 2 WD 500GB drives. I used to use a Fantom enclosure but wanted RAID1. The drives would not deted, no matter what. But, I updated the Jmicron drivers and now at least Vista detects the drive when I hook it up eSata. It always detected it using USB, but not eSATA. Problem is, it says it is only 8GB, regardless of connection type. Makes no sense to me.......why only 8GB??? Suggestionn anyone? I have an Asus PB5. I looked in the bios but could not find anything regardind eSATA or Jmicron drivers......does anyone know whaere it is hidden? Maybe there is something in there??? Thank you, John. |
