    My Microsoft Management Console's "dead"

    .
    1. I'm having problems "Connecting to Task Scheduler" when I click on it either through Computer Management or just from Start --> Administrative Tools.

    2. When I try to access Event Viewer, I get a screen pop that says "MMC has stopped working".

All other areas/features/functions inside Computer Managment work just fine.

    ____
    P.S.

    I tried re-naming_&_resetting wbem\Repository.

It seemed to work, but FWIW there is now a "Repository001" folder inside wbem that i don't think was there before.
