Sound drivers... signing issues

Ok using an Abit kn-8, x2-4400@2.6, gig of ram, AND

onboad sound which is realtek, and HDA-digital x-mystique.

I cant get either of them to install the drivers. I am assuming its a
driver signing issue, the workaround to disable that function doesnt
seem to be working on RC-1. OS runs great other than I cant get sound
cards installed. The drivers for the HDA should work(they did before)
... if I can get them installed.

Anyone know of some workarounds for this or just any ideas at all ?
I've tried doing it all by inf files, turning off driver signing (which
i dont think works in rc-1) removing the hardware and all items and
starting fresh ect.

If I try to let windows install them it just says the drivers are
installed correctly already ... which is odd seeing as how its listed
in windows as missing the drivers :P
