| Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Ultimate (SP1) 64-bit, version 6.0.6001 | Animated Gifs i am trying to put a animated gif on my desktop but when i set the pic as desktop pic the picture does not animate, i use vista home premiume how can i make the gifs i set as background pic animate? my friend she has xp and all she does is right click set as background pick and it animates |

Active Desktop is a large security vulnerability and so Vista doesn't have this. So you have to pass on having a dancing pig or the like on your Desktop. It's amazing what is important in an operating system to some folks. But if you want to regress to XP Pro with Service Pack 3, go for it! |
