This does not necessarily always happen but some times the mouse pointer jumps away to the top left corner area from where I click or even when I do not click anywhere but moving the pointer to certain direction. Is there a remedy to stop this from happening?

If you're using an optical mouse, consider the surface that it's on. This
sort of behaviour can be caused by using the mouse on a somewhat reflective
surface. Try a matte mousepad.

I am confused!! I thought this is a newsgoup other than msnewsgroup. It appears I am just posting on a same newsgroup from two different ways, one from a website and one from a news reader. But I wonder why another thread I created from a news reader is not shown on this website. Could anyone help?

Yes. Forget using the web interface and use a newsreader. There are a
multitude of choices.
