| | Program doesn't load I am running MS Word 2000 with Vista Home Basic. When I click on the icon to load the program it loads but then immediately terminates. I've also tried right clicking and loading as administrator but no deal. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance. |

| | Re: Program doesn't load Most likely Word 2000 itself is not recognized as needing the compatibility option. I have Office 2000 working on Vista Business. Installing as Administrator is the key, I suspect. If you right click the Install.exe. see if there is now a Compatibility tab. If so choose xp and then still run as admin.
