Vista - Domain Profile is set to Temporary

I have seen numerous others have this issue, yet not one possible solution or
work around exists that I can find.

I am using Windows Vista RC1 and my local user account that was created
during the install works great.

I then joined the Machine to our Existing Windows 2003 SP1 domain.

When I log in using my user account, I receive only a Temporary Profile, so
all my changes and Personalization is lost!

Though if I log in using the Domain Administrators Account, it will generate
a Local Profile. I am not using Roaming Profiles on the network.

The only error I see in the Application Event Log is:

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and what items I can
troubleshoot?

Try this:

The command to disable the autotuninglevel is:

- Click start, All Programs
- Accessories
- Right-click Command Prompt
- Click Run As Administrator
- Type the following: netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
- Press enter
- Restart your computer (not really necessary)


For me that cause slow network connection of course WIndows use the Temp
profile settings by default.

The answer I found was that I was apart of many groups, Domain Guests for
one, so I removed that and others that I did not need and this resolved the
issue.
