computer freeze when connected wirelessly

My Toshiba satellite, new in Feb., freezes and must be shutdown with the
start button. It freezes when it is connected to the internet through the
wireless network. My router is a D-Link WBR1310. It will freeze while using
any program, not just when I'm online. I have contacted Toshiba and they
were not able to help except to tell me to try Microsoft at $80.00 a call. It
came with Vista Premium Home Edition and I have added SP 1.
D-Link was unable to help me as well.

1. Back up your data onto an external hard drive.

2. Restore the computer to factory condition using whatever method Toshiba
provided.

3. Run it for a while like that. If it still freezes, contact Toshiba tech
support and insist they repair/replace this machine because now you know
it's hardware failing and not something you installed.

4. If OTOH all is well, add one new program at a time and test after each
installation to see what you had added that messed up your system.
