| | Vista - From Windows Vista to Server 2003 Enterprise |

| | From Windows Vista to Server 2003 Enterprise Hi, I am currently running Windows Vista Home Premium with SP1. Because I have had so much difficulty with my development and server software (Visual Studio, IIS, Sequel Server, etc), I am considering changing over to Windows Server 2003 Enterprise. I have a few questions that I hope someone will know the answers to. 1. Will there be many applications that I can run on Vista that will not run on Server 2003? 2. Does a utility exist that I can run before installing Server 2003 that will let me know if my hardware meets Server 2003 standards? 3. Is there anyway to install Server 2003 without first having to completely formatting my current harddrive (i.e. would it be possible to install Server 2003 over Vista)? 4. This might not be the best group to post this question on, but I could not find a group for Server 2003. If anyone knows of a better group to post this question on, please let me know. Thanks, Doug |

Best of luck, U@xxxxxx |
