| | Shortcut keys fail in RC1 Set a shortcut key to open an application, with a right-click|PROPERTIES|<shortcut tab>|SHORTCUT and it works for a short while, then never again (unless reconfigured). BETA2 did not do this. Seen a fix? |

Please explain more fully, with a link if possible. |

The plugin can be found here: http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=130984 It's mostly about controlling WinAmp playback and such but it also has the option to run a command (usually an app, but you can add parameters to them. You install it, go to WinAmp preferences, General Purpose, select the plugin and clik configure. Go to the HotKey-tab, press the right-arrow- button and select System->Run Command. Select the textbox and press the keys to use. Press Add, type in the path to the app (the browse-button does not work like it should) and press Ok, Ok. And your done. Use it to start lots of programs like the calculator, notepad and such. Always work, even while running games (at least changing the current song, never tried to start an app while playing). -- Erik Wikström |

So presumably a future build has the fix for this already. Alan Adams |

| | RE: Shortcut keys fail in RC1 I'm having the same problem. Sometimes it works (probably immediately after I assign the shortcut), but most of the time it doesn't.
