Vista CD burning

When I burn a CD using the Windows Vista default CD burning software, I can
not open the CD on any computer using any other version of Windows besides
Vista.

Does anyone else have this problem?

And what is there to do about it?

Thanks!

Re: Vista CD burning

Use a version of UDF below 2.5.Normally 2.01 works well.

Re: Vista CD burning

I'll try it.
How do I find that setting?
Thanks.

Re: Vista CD burning

When you format your next CD,it will offer you an option to select the
version of UDF which you wish to use for formatting.(Before this,do not
select `Mastered`.Select `Live` instead at the first prompt, then you will
get the UDF version option).Use this option to specify the version as 2.01
if you wish to use the disc on systems not running Windows Vista.
