| | How to set up automatic logout? Hello, Im a new Vista user and one thing I really liked about XP was the ability to have my account automatically log out after a certain amount of idle time. I share my computer with my girlfriend and I don't always remember to log off my account and I'd rather not have her on my account. (we both like that fact that we have separate accounts with privacy) Does Vista have this feature? If so how do I access it? I have tried going through my control panel looking for options but come up empty. The closet thing I can find is putting it in sleep mode. I do not want to use sleep mode because I like to run programs through the night while I'm sleeping. This actually leads to another question. Sleep mode automatically knocks out my p2p program and stops downloads I might have going. I have found that logging out in Vista also does this. In XP when it auto logged me after a certain amount of idle time, my programs that were open still continued to run even when my girlfriend was on her account. Is this feature part of Vista too? If so how do I set it up? Thanks for any info I can get on this. -- Silverhawk19981 |
