| Guest | Vista: error message "Windows could not search for new updates" I disabled the Firewall and the anti-virus protection, but it didn't matter, since, when I checked for critical updates, I got the error message "Windows could not search for new updates". This is my husband's desktop computer, and I found out that he kept canceling out the updates since 2/22/08. Grrrrrrr! -- Treblegirl |
