| | Identifying Update Downloads This may sound like a stupid question, however I am at a loss to correctly identify which updates to download from the Microsoft Update Website. I am compiling a DVD to contain updates for those who are unable to access the internet to download updates. I have come accross a perplexing problem. I have a system that report it is a x86 based machine, however the processor is reported as a x64 type. The question is which downloads do I download for this system, x86 or x64, also why the two diffrent values here. I look forward to constructive comments. |
