| | Vista Update KB947562 always Fails for Error 80242006 I am attempting to install the Windows Vista Update for KB947562. Everytime the istallation runs, it fails for Error 80242006. Running: Windows Vista SP1 (just upgraded from WinXP SP3 3 days ago) 1.66Ghz Intel Core Duo 2Gb DDr2 ram ~Disabled Firewall and Anti-Virus, Fai Error still the same Info in CBS.log showed following error: CBS Exec: Missing file for package: Package_for_KB947562~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.0.1.1, file: gameux.dll, source: \\?\C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\61963a0a444142057108a87dfcbb0e26\x86_microsoft-windows-gameexplorer_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6001.22132_none_426b7ca9da7127c6\gameux.dll. hr: 0x800f081f Let me know if you need more info.
