Vista - MS Office icons on desktop

On the desktop of my XT pc at home, the icons for all the components of
Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) are located in the
upper right corner for easy access to the Office programs. What do I do
to get the same MS Office icons in the upper right corner of my office
Vista pc? Thanks for any advice.

Go to Start>Programs>Office>right-click on each one that you want a shortcut
for:WORD, EXCEL, etc>Send To> Make a desktop shortcut.

Then drag them to where you want them to be on your Desktop.

MSKB below states Office 2003 and 2007 don't have the tool bar. You don't
mention the version/edition of MS Office you have, so there's not much more

You could make your own tool bar for MS Office shortcuts:
Right click the task bar, go to Tool bars > New tool bar. Then create short
cuts on the new tool bar. You can then have it "floating" on the desktop,
or I think, "docked" to the side of the screen you want it. In this case I
think it's a matter of "make your own" toolbar.....you won't get the same
effect as the original Office toolbar.

That WAS in Office 2000.
Not in Office 2003.
Can not remember if it was in Office XP, as now not installed.
