Excel 2000 compatibility with Vista

I have a new PC with Vista Home Premium. When I try to open Excel 2000 I get
an error message that says "The operating system is not currently configured
to run this application". What is the problem here? It runs fine on my
fiance's PC with Vista Home Basic.

If you only have the Excel spreadsheet to run then be aware that you have to
have Excel itself or an Excell viewer. See:

My nephew sells software and he gave me Windows XP Pro and Office 2000 both
have registration numbers that have no limits to the number of PCs they can
be loaded on.
