AppleMobileDeviceHelper

I downloaded itunes 7.7 and now get a continous msg 'AppleMobilDeviceHelper
has stoped working' etc. I really want to stop that msg. I have reinstalled
and still it comes. Have a newer Dell with Vista that usually works ok.

Re: AppleMobileDeviceHelper

I have not tried it, but I would suggest looking at the list of autorun
programs you have working. You might find that one in the list to uncheck
and disable it. Try this utility for that.

AutoRuns for Windows v9.21:

This seems to be a hot topic just now. google on "'AppleMobileDeviceHelper
has stopped working" and also go to apple.com>support tab>discussions. It
is an Apple product, after all.

Check out the Apple iPod support forums. There apparently is a problem
with iTunes 7.7. Many people have reported the problem, some people
have found a few workarounds, but the don't seem to work for everybody.
Your best bet would be to downgrade to the previous version until Apple
fixes the problem.
