Edit the explorer.exe file

Hi Friends,
I try to edit the explorer.exe file using XN Resource file editer. but i could not able save the file after editing.I am getting the error " Cannot rename original file. saving cancelled".Please explain the problem and give it to the solution.

and/or it is in use. You might be able to edit a copy of it, but then you'd
have the problem of replacing the original with the copy. I've done it in
XP but not in Vista. Vista seems to be less tolerant of mucking around with
it's system files.
