| | Re: After Vista upgrade, Bluetooth stopped working Choto Cheeta - When I follow your directions it says BT is disabled, but it does not turn off the lit-up BT icon in the system tray. It used to be that I could right-click the BT icon in the system tray, click disable, and it would change from a bright blue and white to a dull blue and red. Then I could right-click on it, click enable, and it would light up in blue and white again. -- alp ------------------------------------------------------------------------ alp's Profile: http://winvistaclub.com/forum/member.php?userid=57 View this thread: http://winvistaclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14805 |

| Vista Ultimate 32bit | Re: After Vista upgrade, Bluetooth stopped working alp, it's not anything to do with software or drivers, but the bios. something must have been reset when you upgraded. when the computer first loads the dell screen, rapidly hit f2 to get into bios setup. i think you go down to wireless, i'm not sure because i'm on the computer right now so i can't check. but there's an option to change what the wireless hotkey turns on and off. you can set it to turn off the wireless, the bluetooth, or both.
