| | Can't open hyperlinks Running Vista RC1 with Office 2007 beta. Can't open hyperlinks in email or other documents. Get message "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer." Can't find a setting in Local Security Policy or elsewhere for this. Didn't have this problem with Vista Beta 2 and Office 2007. |

| | Re: Can't open hyperlinks in Outlook 2007 with Vista RC1 Tech Refresh I have the same issue and can not find the option box selection you are referring to. Using Vista RC1, Office 2007 Beta 2 with Technical Refresh installed. Have searched through every menu under Tools in Outlook 2007 and have not been able to find an option relating to disabling attachments or hyperlinks. I am wondering if this may be related to using Mozilla Firefox as default browser? Hyperlinks in Outlook 2007 beta 2 used to work fine with Vista Beta 2 also with Firefox as default browser. Something has changed with either RC1 or more likely the Office 2007 Technical Refresh for RC1. dotcom wrote: > Did you go to "Tools", Options, Security tab and uncheck the box that > says "Do not allow attachments to be opened....? > dotcom > > "Deb Shinder" <Deb Shinder@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:1649342C-A99C-4AD8-898F-260EAC1A9B5D@microsoft.com... >> Running Vista RC1 with Office 2007 beta. | | RE: Can't open hyperlinks I have the same problem. Just added Firefox, since IE7 was having problems with lots of sites. Do not know if that is what is causing the problem. Could not find any security options to change. "Deb Shinder" wrote: > Running Vista RC1 with Office 2007 beta. Can't open hyperlinks in email or > other documents. | | Re: Can't open hyperlinks I had Firefox as default browser. No hyperlinks allowed from Outlook 2007 B2TR. Changed default browser back to IE. Rebooted. *Still* no hyper-link access. | | Re: Can't open hyperlinks Partial fix (link thanks to Patrick Schmid) here: http://www.cnblogs.com/CrazyCoder/ar...06/496187.html Outlook 2007 B2TR apparently does have it "out" for Firefox. pennhaven wrote: > I had Firefox as default browser.
