Vista - Desktop icons keep neither their size nor position

Fresh install of RC1, Nvidia FX 5200 card. I put the icons on the
desktop where I want them (sidebar is disabled, btw) and change
their appearance to "classic", but when I (re-)start Vista, they are
lined up at the left side again (and again...) plus their size is rever-
ted back to default. That's annoying. I've already reported this as
a bug. Anyone else observing this?

What video card do you have? I don't remember this happening
on my laptopwozh an ATi card (had to wipe the installation due
to other problems).

Same here. Highly annoying. I'm using an ATI Mobility Radeon 7500.

Same for me...seems not to be dependent on the vidcard...
