| | Unable to download itunes + quicktime After uninstalling itunes and quicktime, I attempted to REINSTALL them both, and I recieve the error message: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personel or package vendor". I have had Windows Vista for about a year now and have never had this problem. It was suggested that I go to my Windows System32 directory and run regsvr32.exe scrrun.dll. I did this and the following error appeared: "the module "scrun.dll" was loaded but the call to DIIRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80004004" Can someone help me to decipher this? Thanks! |

| | RE: Unable to download itunes + quicktime Issues with uninstalling Quicktime and itunes: http://homepage.mac.com/corrp/troubl...e.html#Install Have you tried a good uninstall software to make sure that quicktime and itunes is really gone before reinstalling it? I've found that if some software isn't uninstalled cleanly, then that software will create problems when reinstalled. -- oscar ![]() ....Right click is your best friend...
