If You're currently not using Aero, It's in 'Window Color and Appearance' "sean" <seanadamberger@comcast.net> wrote in message news:3BA057FB-4AE4-4B8A-A9F4-A6F6A60DE6C7@microsoft.com... > my card supports it and I even have a 1.9 score for it. the sidebar is > transparent but the taskbars and the windows are not. i have rc1 build > 5600 its not even listed in themes! |

| | Re: where is that cool looking aero glass thing? By default, and I'm not certain of the specs, but I think if your PC has 512MB RAM (or less than ?), Aero is not the default color scheme. Right click on the desktop, select Personalize, click on the Window Color and Appearance link. If Windows Aero is not listed as a color scheme... then you're out of luck. If it is listed, select it, click the OK button, and you should be good to go... | | Re: where is that cool looking aero glass thing? If it's XDDM you're probably OOL. What graphic card are you using? If unsure, do a reboot -- it's usually the first thing displayed at POST, albeit, very quickly.
