where is that cool looking aero glass thing?

my card supports it and I even have a 1.9 score for it. the sidebar is
transparent but the taskbars and the windows are not. i have rc1 build 5600
its not even listed in themes!

Look in the Welcome Center. Does it say WDDM after your Graphics Card? If it
does not that is your problem.

If You're currently not using Aero, It's in 'Window Color and Appearance'

By default, and I'm not certain of the specs, but I think if your PC has
512MB RAM (or less than ?), Aero is not the default color scheme. Right
click on the desktop, select Personalize, click on the Window Color and
Appearance link. If Windows Aero is not listed as a color scheme... then
you're out of luck. If it is listed, select it, click the OK button, and you
should be good to go...

If it's XDDM you're probably OOL. What graphic card are you using? If
unsure, do a reboot -- it's usually the first thing displayed at POST,
albeit, very quickly.
