| | MSN Money Toolbox fails under IE7 and RC-1 When you go to the MSN Money website you are presented with a choice of basic or deluxe for viewing your stock portfolio. If you choose the deluxe then an online installation of the MSN Money Toolbox proceeds. The installation will fail near the end of what looks to be a normal installation and state that it was unable to write entries into the registry. You can remove the failed installation though the add/remove programs list but the installation automatically begins again if you revisit the MSN Money website. Are there any settings that can be changed to allow the installation of this application? If not, how can I revert back to the MSN Money basic so that it will stop trying to install the deluxe version? |
