How do I make VIsta show all file types?

On any WIndows machine, about the the first thing I do is make file
explorer show file types. I can't find that in Vista. Where should I
look?

Is there a HOWTO website for common system tasks in Vista?

Thanks,.

Organize --> Folder and Search Options -> View tab.

The built in 'Help & Support' or the Windows Help and How-to at
