| | Re: User Account Control... Well not sure if you can turn off that warning only because I have never tried turning it off, and don't really wish to, but In the Security Center Start Control Panel Security Security Center It may be an option in the Other Security Setting part near the bottom. but if you really hate all the warnings from the Security Center there is a link on the left side for Change the way security center warns me and you can turn all warnings off completely. (not recommended of course) ![]() Hope that helps ya. -- James M Driscoll Jr MCTS (Vista) Spaceman "Mike" <mikey117@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:uEnC8Va9IHA.3544@xxxxxx Quote: > Ok, I turned it off, on purpose. > Now how can I get my laptop to stop telling me I have to check my > settings, because User Account Control is turned off?!?!? > > -- > "The very existence of flame-throwers, proves that some time, somewhere, > someone said to themselves, `You know, I want to set those people over > there on fire, I'm just not close enough to get the job done.'" > |

Save the reg file as IconRestore.reg Then delete the key. |
