| | Lap top constantly restarting after updates I recenrly went to shut down my computer and did not realise it said downloading updates 1/3 do not shut down...but i did not see and closed the lid of my lap top. Now when i turn on my lap top, it loads up and says downloading updates 3/3, shuts itself down and restarts...only to come up with the same message downloading updates 3/3. I have removed the battery and put it back in and it has come up resolve this problem, and it looked llike it was trying but it came back to the downloading updates 3/3. does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this and get into the lap top?????? Thanks Sam |

Anything else I'm afraid won't help you in this case. http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/L/Last...iguration.html http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;307852 If what Mark suggest doesn't work then I'd try System Restore. Restore to a point just prior to your download. Once things are up and running then retry your updates. -- All the best, SG Is your computer system ready for Vista? https://winqual.microsoft.com/hcl/ Want to keep up with the latest news from MS? http://news.google.com/nwshp?tab=wn&ned=us&topic=t Just type in Microsoft |
