Vista - Internet disconnection

I am regularly disconnected from the Internet for no obvious (to me) reason.
My service provider has checked all possible problems that could be his
responsibility ad assures me that the connection is good and stable. He
suggests that there is a problem with a IE driver. Please help.

Is it only happening with IE? If so try Firefox and see what happens.

1.If using a router, make sure Firmware for it is up to date re Vista
compatibility.
2.Have latest Network Adaptor drivers.
3. Right-click your Network connection>Properties>unbind TCP/IPv6.
