| | My purchased Music in iTunes wont play So far Vista is running great! One issue I am seeing in iTunes and Vista RC1 is that my purchased music wont play. It asks me for my password then says I have authorized X computers out of 5, but still wont play. It keeps prompting me for my password again and again. Any thoughts would help... |

Did you do an upgrade install? A clean install? An install on a separate partition? If you no longer have that OS that you received authorization on- you are going to have to call Apple. -Michael |

| | Re: My purchased Music in iTunes wont play I did do an UPGRADE from XP. I now only have 3 computers authorized out of a maximum of 5 PC's. I am afraid to reinstall iTunes, I hear iTunes 7 won't install. Does anybody know if it does? Remember, Vista is still in the testing stage and I am sure Microsoft would appreciate the feedback. BTW, what is the best way to give Microsoft feedback on Windows Vista? |

| | Re: My purchased Music in iTunes wont play I've got 7 installed and it seems ok. I have not tested to destruction but the install was painless. | | Re: My purchased Music in iTunes wont play Sounds like your Vista install is looking like a new computer to I tunes. You have to deauthorize one of your other computers or email I tunes and tell them you forgot to deauthorize before you upgraded your box. 5 times is the limit.
