I don't currently have vista on my pc but i have had some experiences with it via fixing other peoples computers.
Trying to fix vista's small problems has put me off ever buying it or using it instead of xp in the future but now windows 7 is comming out i need not have to.
by the way some of the problems i have had
first time using vista, to shut down the computer i went start and like usual and i pressed the shutdown icoin instead of the arrow. Turns out the shut down icon is to send the computer to sleep and you need to press the arrow to shut it down. But not knowing much about vista at the time i pressed the icon that had the universal shutdown symbol which happened to send it to sleep. No big deal except i could not wake the computer up after that. the screen stayed black no matter what i pressed or how much i moved the mouse. so i forced a shutdown buy\t everytime i started the computer up it didn't even load vista and went straight to sleep to a black screen and the was no options like safe mode, bios, Nothing. weird?? i though so. but kept trying and still diodn't work. the next daty it just worked........???
other problems include internet confliction problems.....
is it really worth it considering all that as well as the fact it's hardly compatible with anything and currently slower then xp....
i think not!
windows 7 is the way to go since it's going to be heaps more compatible with 3rd party software....
i just glad i won't be stuck with vista!!!
