| Guest | Map Drive Letter to USB External Drive Can I permenantly map a drive to the root of my USB Drive? I want H:\ to always be for this drive. If I plug and unplug storage devices the assigned drive letters change and screws up my back up routines. -- Thanks |

| Guest | RE: Map Drive Letter to USB External Drive Hi garywi, To change drive letter of an external USB storage device such as a memory stick or an external hard drive try this: Administrative tools (on your menu or in All Programs) > Computer management (run as administrator if you are not in administrator account) > Disc Management > right click desired drive > “change drive letter and paths” No matter which USB port you place external drive or memory stick into, the drive change will follow. -- oscar  ....Right click is your very good friend...
