| | User folder I am not sure if this is the right place but when I got my laptop I went to type my name in and typed in "Dou" instead of "Doug". The user folder that was created now reads "Dou" and nothing I do will let me change it. Is there a way to change that folder name? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: User folder Hello Doug, I'm sorry, but the only way to change the "C:\Users\Dou" folder is to create a new administrator account name "Doug" and delete the old account from with the new one. These tutorial will help show you how to if needed. Create: User Account - Create Delete: User Account - Delete Hope this helps, Shawn |
