| | Vertical display setting requires adjusting at boot Hi, all. I'm fairly computer savvy, but I can't seem to resolve the following problem. What is happening is that as soon as Vista boots, the screen area shifts "down" about one inch, and I have to adjust the screen geometry manually with the monitor. I have tried using the tool provided by Gateway (EzTune) to save these settings, but no luck. I have also tried to update the drivers, but also with no luck. Any suggestions??? Thanks much, Matt |

| | Re: Vertical display setting requires adjusting at boot It seems like faulty with monitor, try using same monitor with different PC. or alternatively check the monitor connection. <mshall2@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:9cd14386-5cb0-4f99-b7ad-0365aa404d3f@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, all. | | Re: Vertical display setting requires adjusting at boot No..it happens even with another monitor. I think it has something to do with the way the resolution settings are saved in the registry. Do you know how to tweek these? |
