scanner hard button registry location for scan to software actions?

Under Vista x64.. when you press any scanners send to computer
function, which usually brings up the software automatically and
starts scanning or presents the user with a choice of software to
use..

where in the registry is this stored..

Does anyone know the exact location(s)..

Thanks
