Advanced search?

I have a new Vista machine, and the "Advanced Search" option I am used to is
gone. How to I activate/see it?

Do you mean the searh option in the right column of the start menu?
You can get the same search window by pressing WIN+F.
WIN is the key with the Windows logo on it.

Re: Advanced search?

Win+F is bringing up terms of service for Google Desktop. I don't want
to bother with that. I thought I uninstalled all the included Google
stuff - how
do I go back to plain vanilla Vista?
