| | Re: Anyone using TVAnts in Vista Home Premium i have read some article on this (increasing allowable network connection) before, not not sure how to do this. do you have any good article on this ? And secondly, what is the drawback and risk on performing this? This is obviously not something that they did with the server versions. http://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=1497 When I was using Vista on the desktop (I only use it as on my HTPC now), I could not find a way to increase the connection limit in Vista, but that was over a year ago since I stopped using it, so there may be known ways by now. Unless this you did this hack on your XP machine, this will not be the reason for your problem. ss. |

"TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts." If you have that in your event log, then you do have this problem occurring. There does seem to be patches for this. Here's one, but I have not tried it myself. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/N...utoPatch.shtml ss. |
