Runtime error in IE7 after RC1 vista installation

I posted this on the IE discussion group also:
-- When I open IE7 I rec' the below msg, and IE7 will not open. Prior to
installing Vista RC1 I had no issues. I ran ccleaner - no help, and than I
ran the microsoft defender and I thought it fixed the issue, but low and
behold it is back. Before I ran defender I thought it was 100% of the time.
After I ran defender it woked and the world was good, now I see that it is an
intermitten problem. Any suggestions?

Did you try safe mode, no add-ons? I had this same issue with B2, and it
turned out to be a Java problem.

If the Google toolbar is installed uninstall it.

Re: Runtime error in IE7 after RC1 vista installation

Hi all -
I'm experiencing the same issue. It's sporadic and I've noticed it
sometimes happens when I use the IE-installed Google search (not the
toolbar). I received the crashing after installing Adobe Acrobat and Flash.

Some sites that caused me grief were: support.microsoft.com, Google
home/search, MSDN downloads, and others.

My 2 cents:
Possible IE7 search provider/Google issue.
Possible issue when certain plug-ins aren't installed.
