| | How to restore the original factory image Got a brand, new Dell Studio 17 laptop Having some audio problems with Adobe Premier, and the Dell support guy said that if Adobe Support can't fix it, then the next step is to restore the original factory image. Its sitting on the hard drive in a "recovery" partition, apparently. I'm thinking I might just go ahead and do it myself. Anyway, does anyone know how to restore the original factory image on a Dell laptop? James |

Follow the prompts. |

| | Re: How to restore the original factory image Check the manual or documentation that came with your laptop, or check the Dell web site. The process to restore the computer to factory state varies from manufacturer to manufacturer and can even be different between different models of the same brand. -- Richard G.
