Event Viewer

If someone is accessing your computer from the Internet where in the Event

Re: Event Viewer

the event viewer might not show that information...

its mostly for errors in programs notifications about services etc...

if you are afraid such a thing is happening you should download linux that
is far more secure than vista,
or if you want windows you should run some antispyware programs like "spybot
search and destroy" (google it)
and adaware (google it).

Also install a very good firewall OR take a look at the ADVANCED WINDOWS
FIREWALL
that you will find in your CONTROL PANEL> ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS (on the
bottom see the icon that says Windows Firewall with Advanced security)

--- leapfrog vista... waiting for windows7, that will actuallu be vista that
just gone out of beta quality.

Re: Event Viewer

Do you mean "Remote Desktop" access (like here:
http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/0...windows-vista/ )
or do you mean someone installing and executing harmful programs (malware)
on your machine via Internet?
