Hep Installing Vista At Laptop

I have just got a new laptop and I started immediately with installing Vista Ultimate 64 bit edition. When I come to the part in the installation where I have to choose where to install Vista – I choose advanced. It says I have approximately 238 GB not allocated. I make one partition with approximately 150 GB and one with the rest – format them and try to install Vista. It crashes. I try to reboot the Vista DVD – but now the keyboard does not work and it will not boot the Vista DVD – I try with Vista DVD 32 bit – it works. When coming to where I want to install Vista it says that I cannot install Windows at a GPT partitioned??
It seems that there is a C drive and a X (Boot) drive at the hard drive.
How do I solve it???

Re: Hep Installing Vista At Laptop

I added an external keyboard that worked – (the internal keyboard stopped working when I tried to install Vista the first time). And went into BIOS and disabled the computer to boot from lan.
I tried to install Vista 64 but got the blue screen of dead with the following error message
STOP: 0x000000IE (0xFFC0000005, 0xFFFFFFFFFFBA22IC (perhaps was the last I a 1), 0,0000000000000000, 0x00000000FF, 800000)
