Port 80 Already Used Or Blocked ?

Hye, a problem with vista and easyphp..almost nothing installed on vista. I
try to launch Apache of Easy PHP and I have this error message :

The server can't start up. An other server uses the required port or the
port is blocked by the firewall.


Do you know what application could use the port 80 on Vista ? Thanks for
help.

Same problem here... can't work out how to get Apache, MySQL or any of that
stuff to install in Vista. Someone must have it working on their machine....
PLEASE HELP!

Have you opened port 80 on the exceptions tab of the firewall? It's normally
used for http traffic (to answer the OP's question). If it's not open, then
only requests initiated from inside the system will work.

Okay resolved...They forget nothing vista devs seriously :|

So it is not the IIS admin service now, its World Wide Web Publishing
Service who have to be disabled...I hope they will disabled it for the Final
version because not.... blink.gif
